The Sunex® 1/2 ton air & hydraulic telescopic trans jack (model 7796) features a universal saddle and a foot-activated pump pedal for hands-free raising of the rams, facilitating the removal, installation, and transportation of transmissions and transfer cases on vehicles supported by lifts. The lowered telescopic rams allow for the transfer of the transmission from the jack to the work table, extending to a maximum height of 74 inches. It includes a foot-activated release pedal for slow, controlled lowering of the load. The universal saddle is equipped with four ratcheting arms that quickly adjust to fit various transmission pan configurations, while a nylon strap tie-down secures the load to the saddle. The overload valve prevents the jack from being used beyond its rated capacity, ensuring safety during operation. Additionally, the wide base legs with swivel casters and polyurethane tread wheels provide stability and ease of maneuverability, even under load, with two of the caster wheels featuring a locking mechanism to prevent any movement during use.
