The Sunex 5081B 8 ton heavy duty flat bottom ram is a long stroke, bottle jack designed primarily for IEM applications in manufacturing, as well as for farm and engine crane uses, where long hydraulic strokes are needed. It features a ductile iron base for enhanced strength and durability, is coated with electrostatic paint to provide rust prevention, and incorporates larger ram diameters to effectively handle side loads. For safety, the Sunex 5081B includes a hydraulic bypass system that prevents overextension of the ram. The model comes with a flat base but can be converted to a pivot base using the model 5085 pivot base adaptor, which is sold separately. It is ideal for handling equipment and other applications that require reliable hydraulic performance.
