The Sunex 5041B 4 ton heavy duty flat bottom ram is a long stroke bottle jack suited for farm applications and primarily for OEM applications in manufacturing or engine cranes and handling equipment that require a long hydraulic stroke. It features a ductile iron base for added strength, coated with electrostatic paint for rust prevention, and incorporates larger ram diameters to withstand side loads. For safety, the Sunex 5041B includes a hydraulic bypass system that prevents overextension of the ram. This model is designed with a flat base but can be converted to a pivot base using the model 5085 pivot base adaptor, which is sold separately.
