Roberts® Unison® 2-in-1 underlayment for laminate and engineered wood flooring features a 3/32 inch polyethylene foam layer for cushioning, along with a 2 mil. thick top film designed to protect against harmful moisture vapor. This underlayment is suitable for wood subfloors and can also be applied over concrete slabs when paired with a recommended moisture barricade (Item# 70-115, sold separately). It provides 100 sq. ft. of coverage, with each roll measuring 25 ft. x 4 ft. x 3/32". The foam construction effectively reduces everyday surface noise, while the adhesive strip and overlap facilitate easy joining of rolls during installation. Additional benefits include sound reduction, moisture resistance, and the ability to level minor subfloor imperfections, along with a heat flow resistance R-value of 0.29, making it ideal for use over radiant heated floors.
