Roberts® Black Jack is engineered as a superior grade 2-in-1 underlayment for laminate and engineered wood flooring, suitable for various types of subflooring. The product features a 2.5 mm thick foam layer that provides optimal cushioning and sound absorption, along with a dense, closed cell structure that ensures excellent moisture, mold, and mildew resistance. Each roll covers 100 sq. ft. and measures 28 ft. x 43" x 2.5 mm, making it easy to handle during installation. It includes a 4" overlap and adhesive strip to effectively seal out moisture and join multiple rolls. The underlayment offers cushioning, sound reduction, resistance, and the capability to level minor subfloor imperfections. It is equipped with anti-crush technology for extended durability. Additionally, it boasts an IIC (Impact Sound Transmission Test) rating of 70, an STC (Sound Transmission Loss Test) rating of 66, and a Delta rating of 21.
