These sturdy, rigid racks feature interlocking end plates with handles for secure stacking when loaded with tubes up to 10 cm (4") long. Rows are numbered and lettered for easy tube identification, and all racks are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). The polypropylene racks have white surfaces that facilitate easy color comparisons, are sturdy and chemical resistant, will not shatter or stain, and have a top shelf height of 7 cm (2-3/4"). The polycarbonate racks, on the other hand, have crystal-clear decks making them ideal for submersion in water baths, with a top shelf height of 7-5/16 cm (2-7/8").
