The Vollrath Cayenne 24" flat top electric griddle (model 40716) operates at 13.6 amps and 3000 watts, featuring a superior element design that ensures even heating across the entire cooking surface. It offers fast startup and recovery times, along with a heavy-duty polished cooking surface that provides high heat retention. The griddle plate is fully welded to the base, complemented by 2 1/2" back and sloped side splashes. To enhance usability, knob guards are included to protect against accidental changes or damage, and an internally-mounted grease collection pan contributes to a cleaner appearance and simplifies cleaning and maintenance. The griddle operates at 120V, with a cooking surface depth of 16 1/2" (41.9 cm). All units ship with cord and plug installed, and are thermostatically controlled up to a maximum temperature of 570°F. The models 40716 and 40717 are single phase, with the 14" unit (40715) ideally suited for buffet, brunch, or catering applications, while the 36" model (40717) features independent controls per 12" heating zone, allowing for multiple stations in one unit.
