The Precision Brand® slotted shim kit is made from 300 series stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. Each shim in size A measures 2" x 2" with a slot size of 5/8". The included tab feature facilitates easier and safer shim placement, eliminating the need to place hands under machinery during installation or removal. Each shim is clearly marked with thickness in both decimal and metric units. This slotted shim is designed to effectively address alignment and leveling issues for motors, pumps, generators, and various other types of plant machinery. The design not only ensures accuracy but also aids in reducing labor costs by negating the need for hand cutting while minimizing downtime through the elimination of shim preparation.
