Precision Brand 316 stainless steel shim is constructed from a soft (annealed) temper material, providing superior corrosion resistance to various chemicals, salts, acids, and marine environments due to the inclusion of 2.0 to 3.0% molybdenum. The fabrication characteristics of Type 316 are comparable to those of Type 302 and Type 304. This shim measures 6 inches wide by 12 inches long with a thickness of 0.012 inches.
