This scale features easy installation and compatibility with most electronic cash registers and POS software through a bi-directional 9 pin RS-232 port and a USB port (USB cable sold separately). The "touchless tare" electronic mechanism enhances food handling safety by allowing users to zero the scale with a wave of a hand. It includes an adapter and offers five weighing modes: kg, lb, oz, g, and lb:oz, with an accuracy of 0.01%. The scale's housing is made of ABS plastic, and it features a 5-1/2 digit seven-segment LCD display with a 15 mm (0.58") high blue backlight.
