The Brecknell 6720U Point of Sale digital scale has a capacity of 30 lb with an accuracy of 0.01 lb and features an internal display. It is equipped with a 12" x 14" platform, making it suitable for use in environments such as cafeterias, convenience stores, delicatessens, restaurants, and candy shops where space is limited. The scale can be easily installed and interfaces with most electronic cash registers and POS software via a bi-directional 9 pin RS-232 port and a USB port. The "touchless tare" electronic mechanism allows for zeroing the scale with the wave of a hand, enhancing food handling safety. The scale also includes an adapter, while the USB cable is sold separately. All 6700U series scales feature five weighing modes—kg, lb, oz, g, and lb:oz—along with an accuracy of ≤ 0.01%. The ABS plastic housing contains a display with 5-1/2 digits, seven segments, and a 15 mm (0.58") high LCD with a blue backlight. Additional features include quick disconnect, check weighing, count weighing, and peak/hold capabilities. An optional external remote display can be purchased separately upon request.
