The Brecknell 6720U Point of Sale Scale has a capacity of 30 lb with an accuracy of 0.01 lb, designed for use in various environments such as cafeterias, convenience stores, delicatessens, restaurants, and candy shops where space is limited. It installs easily and interfaces with most electronic cash registers and POS software via a bi-directional 9 pin RS-232 port and a USB port (USB cable sold separately). The scale features a "touchless tare" electronic mechanism that enhances food handling safety by allowing users to zero the scale with the wave of a hand. Included in the kit is an adapter, while the scale supports five weighing modes: kg, lb, oz, g, and lb:oz. The housing is made of ABS plastic, and the display consists of 5-1/2 digits in seven segments, with a height of 15 mm (0.58 inches) and a blue backlight. Additionally, it offers functions for check weighing, count weighing, and peak/hold. Please note that this model only includes an external display.
