The 4C horizontal mailbox features a double configuration with 10 doors, measuring 37 1/2" high, and includes 9 mailbox compartments and 2 parcel lockers for front loading. This mailbox is U.S.P.S. approved and manufactured to meet USPS-STD-4C specifications, making it ideal for use in apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments. It is required for new constructions and major remodels, as the U.S.P.S. standard requires a minimum of 1 parcel locker for every 10 tenant compartments. The mailbox is constructed of heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel hardware, featuring a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door includes a heavy-duty cam lock with a dust/rain shield and comes with 3 keys. The mailbox door sizes are as follows: MB1 doors are 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H, MB2 doors are 13-1/4" W x 6-3/4" H, MB3 doors are 13-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H, and MB4 doors are 13-1/4" W x 13-3/4" H. The mailbox is available in configurations ranging from single column (1 door wide) to double column (2 doors wide) and can accommodate between 3 to 15 MB1 equivalent door high units, with a popular maximum height of 56-3/4"H. ADA-compliant units are also available. Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers can be configured in heights of 17-1/4" (PL5) and 20-3/4" (PL6). Additionally, the mailbox features an outgoing mail compartment that is equivalent to two 3-1/4" high standard doors, labeled "Outgoing Mail," which includes a U.S.P.S. master lock access door installed by the U.S.P.S., a 10-3/4" W x 3/4" H mail slot with a weather protection hood, and comes with factory-installed 3/4" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid rear cover.
