The 4C Horizontal Mailbox, featuring 11 doors with a height of 41 inches, is designed for double configuration with 15 mailboxes and 1 parcel locker, complying with U.S.P.S. standards. This mailbox is manufactured to meet USPS-STD-4C specifications, making it ideal for use in apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments, particularly in new constructions and major remodels. U.S.P.S. standards require a minimum of one parcel locker for every ten tenant compartments, and the mailbox is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is constructed from heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel hardware, with a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door features a heavy-duty cam lock with a dust/rain shield and comes with three keys. The mailbox sizes include MB1 doors measuring 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H, MB2 doors at 13-1/4" W x 6-3/4" H, MB3 doors at 13-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H, and MB4 doors at 13-1/4" W x 13-3/4" H. Configurations are available in single column (1 door wide) and double column (2 doors wide), with heights ranging from three (3) MB1 equivalent doors to fifteen (15) MB1 equivalent doors, including popular maximum high units at 56-3/4" H. ADA compliant units can be requested. Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers in 5 MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4" high) and 6 MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4" high) are also available. An outgoing mail compartment, equivalent to two 3-1/4" high standard doors, is labeled "Outgoing Mail" and includes a U.S.P.S. master lock access door that is installed by the U.S.P.S. This compartment cannot be used for mail distribution and features a mail slot measuring 10-3/4" W x 3/4" H with a weather protection hood. The mailbox includes factory-installed 3/4" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid rear cover.
