The vertical mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved exclusively for replacement and/or retrofit installations, manufactured by Industries to USPS-STD-4B+ specifications, making them an ideal choice for apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. Constructed entirely from aluminum, these mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in several colors including aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. The rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes measures 1-1/2" less than the unit's width, 1-1/4" less than the unit's height, and equal to the unit's depth, allowing for secure fitting into a rough opening with mounting hardware (not included) installed through the back or side panels. Each unit includes a fully integrated flanged collar that fits over the rough opening, while individual compartment dimensions measure 5-1/2" W x 16-1/4" H x 6-3/4" D. The doors and trim are striated to resist scratching, and each door comes with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock (with 2 keys) for security. The mailboxes are available in configurations of 3 to 7 compartments, and Industries holds ISO 9001: 2008 certification, ensuring adherence to standardized quality management practices.
