Vertical mailboxes, U.S.P.S. approved for replacement and retrofit installations, are manufactured by Industries to USPS-STD-4B+ specifications, making them suitable for apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. These mailboxes are constructed entirely of aluminum and feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. The rough opening required for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is 1-1/2" less than the unit's width, 1-1/4" less than the unit's height, and equal to the unit's depth. They fit into a rough opening and can be secured with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. Each unit includes a fully integrated flanged collar that fits over the rough opening, while individual compartment dimensions are 5-1/2" W x 16-1/4" H x 6-3/4" D. The doors and trim are designed to be striated for scratch resistance and come with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock, accompanied by 2 keys. Mailboxes are available in configurations of 3 to 7 compartments.
