The vertical mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved specifically for replacement and/or retrofit installations manufactured by Industries to USPS-STD-4B+ specifications, making them ideal for use in apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. Constructed entirely of aluminum, these mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. The rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is 1-1/2 inches less than the unit's width, 1-1/4 inches less than the unit's height, and equal to the unit's depth, allowing for secure installation with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. Each unit includes a fully integrated flanged collar to fit over the rough opening, and the individual compartment size measures 5-1/2 inches wide by 16-1/4 inches high by 6-3/4 inches deep. The doors and trim are designed with a striated finish to resist scratching, and each door is equipped with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock that comes with 2 keys. Mailboxes are available with options of 3 to 7 compartments, and Industries maintains ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management.
