The vertical mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved for replacement and/or retrofit installations, manufactured by Industries to USPS-STD-4B+ specifications, making them suitable for apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. Constructed entirely of aluminum, these mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green. The rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is designed to be 1-1/2" less than the unit's width, 1-1/4" less than its height, and equal to the unit's depth, allowing for easy fitment into the specified rough opening secured with mounting hardware (not included) through back or side panels. Each unit includes a fully integrated flanged collar that fits over the rough opening. Individual compartment dimensions are 5-1/2" W x 16-1/4" H x 6-3/4" D, with doors and trim that are striated to resist scratching. Additionally, the doors are equipped with a 5 pin cylinder cam lock, which includes 2 keys, and the mailboxes are available with configurations of 3 to 7 compartments.
