The 4C horizontal mailbox features a 6-door height of 23 1/2 inches and includes a parcel box with one parcel locker, designed for front loading. It is constructed from heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel hardware, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. This mailbox is U.S.P.S. approved and manufactured to USPS-STD-4C specifications, making it ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments, particularly in new construction and major remodels. According to U.S.P.S. standards, it includes a minimum of one parcel locker for every ten tenant compartments. The powder-coated finish is available in several colors, including aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door is equipped with a heavy-duty cam lock featuring a dust/rain shield and comes with three keys. The mailbox sizes are as follows: MB1 doors measure 13-1/4 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches high, MB2 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 6-3/4 inches high, MB3 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 10-1/4 inches high, and MB4 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 13-3/4 inches high. The mailbox is available in configurations of one door wide (single column) and two doors wide (double column), accommodating up to fifteen MB1 equivalent door heights, with popular maximum heights of 56-3/4 inches. ADA compliant units are also available. Additionally, fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers are offered in five MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4 inches high) and six MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4 inches high). For outgoing mail collection, a compartment equivalent to two 3-1/4 inch high standard doors is provided, labeled "Outgoing Mail," which includes a U.S.P.S. master lock access door (lock installed by the U.S.P.S.) and features a mail slot measuring 10-3/4 inches wide by 3/4 inches high, along with a weather protection hood. The mailbox kit includes factory-installed 3/4 inches wide by 1/4 inches deep trim and a solid rear cover.
