The 4C horizontal mailbox is designed for efficiency and compliance, featuring a total of 10 doors at a height of 37 1/2 inches, configured as a single unit with 4 mailboxes and 1 parcel locker. This U.S.P.S. approved mailbox, manufactured to USPS-STD-4C specifications, is ideal for use in apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments, making it a requirement for new construction and major remodels. Adhering to the U.S.P.S. standard, it includes at least 1 parcel locker for every 10 tenant compartments and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Constructed from heavy-duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware, the mailbox features a durable powder-coated finish available in multiple colors, including aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door is equipped with a heavy-duty cam lock with a dust/rain shield and comes with 3 keys. The mailbox doors vary in size: MB1 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches high, MB2 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 6-3/4 inches high, MB3 doors measure 13-1/4 inches wide by 10-1/4 inches high, and MB4 doors are 13-1/4 inches wide by 13-3/4 inches high. Units range from three MB1 equivalent door heights to fifteen MB1 equivalents, including popular maximum high options (56-3/4 inches). ADA compliant units are also available, with configurations of 1 door wide (single column) and 2 doors wide (double column). Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers come in heights corresponding to 5 MB1 (PL5 - 17-1/4 inches high) and 6 MB1 (PL6 - 20-3/4 inches high). An outgoing mail collection compartment, equivalent to two standard 3-1/4 inches high doors, is labeled "Outgoing Mail," featuring a U.S.P.S. master lock access door (installed by the U.S.P.S.) and is not for mail distribution. This compartment includes a mail slot measuring 10-3/4 inches wide by 3/4 inch high, along with a weather protection hood. The kit includes factory-installed 3/4 inch wide by 1/4 inch deep trim and a solid rear cover.
