The 4C horizontal mailbox is a U.S.P.S. approved, single-unit mailbox system designed for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring 11 doors with a height of 41 inches, alongside one parcel locker. Manufactured by Industries to U.S.P.S. standard 4C specifications, this mailbox is ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments, and is required for new construction and major remodels. The design includes a minimum of one parcel locker for every ten tenant compartments. It is constructed from heavy-duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware, featuring a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door is equipped with a heavy-duty cam lock that includes a dust/rain shield and comes with three keys. The mailbox sizes are as follows: MB1 doors measure 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H, MB2 doors at 13-1/4" W x 6-3/4" H, MB3 doors at 13-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H, and MB4 doors at 13-1/4" W x 13-3/4" H. Configurations are available in single column (1 door wide) or double column (2 doors wide) setups, ranging from three MB1 equivalent door heights to fifteen MB1 equivalent door heights, with popular maximum height units available. ADA compliant units can also be requested. Additionally, fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers are offered in five MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4" high) and six MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4" high). The mailbox system includes an outgoing mail compartment labeled "Outgoing Mail," which uses a compartment equivalent to two standard 3-1/4" high doors, featuring a U.S.P.S. master lock access door installed by the U.S.P.S. This compartment cannot be used for mail distribution but has a mail slot measuring 10-3/4" W x 3/4" H and includes a weather protection hood. The unit comes with factory-installed trim measuring 3/4" W x 1/4" D and a solid rear cover.
