The 4C horizontal mailbox is a U.S.P.S. approved unit designed for maximum height of 56 3/4 inches, featuring a single configuration with 9 mailbox compartments and 1 parcel locker. Manufactured according to USPS-STD-4C specifications, this mailbox is ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments and is required for new construction and major remodels. It includes a minimum of 1 parcel locker for every 10 tenant compartments, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Constructed from heavy-duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware, it features a durable powder-coated finish available in aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone. Each door is equipped with a heavy-duty cam lock that includes a dust/rain shield and comes with 3 keys for secure access. The mailbox sizes are as follows: MB1 doors measure 13-1/4 inches W x 3-1/4 inches H, MB2 doors are 13-1/4 inches W x 6-3/4 inches H, MB3 doors are 13-1/4 inches W x 10-1/4 inches H, and MB4 doors are 13-1/4 inches W x 13-3/4 inches H. The units are available in heights ranging from three (3) MB1 equivalent door heights to fifteen (15) MB1 equivalent door heights, including popular maximum heights. ADA compliant units can be provided, and configurations include options that are 1 door wide (single column) and 2 doors wide (double column). Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers are offered in 5 MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4 inches high) and 6 MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4 inches high). Additionally, an outgoing mail compartment, which is equivalent to two 3-1/4 inches high standard doors, is designated for mail collection, featuring a U.S.P.S. master lock access door and a mail slot measuring 10-3/4 inches W x 3/4 inches H, accompanied by a weather protection hood. The mailbox also includes factory-installed trim measuring 3/4 inches W x 1/4 inches D and a solid rear cover.
