The kit includes one- to four-door wall-mount and one- to five-door free-stand models, with larger wall-mount sizes accommodating more components, ideal for applications with limited floor space. The free-stand enclosures are available in heights of 48 in. and 60 in., providing a clear line of sight above the enclosure. Key features include .074 in., .098 in., or .121 in. steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, body stiffeners in larger enclosures for extra rigidity, and a body flange trough that excludes liquids and contaminants. Heavy-duty lifting eyes anchor into the reinforced top on larger models, while removable centerposts facilitate easy panel installation. The enclosures feature concealed, easy-to-remove hinges, and a heavy-duty latch mechanism operated by a zinc die-cast padlocking defeater handle on all doors. The latching system includes a 2-point latch on enclosures up to 36 in. (914 mm) and a 3-point latch on enclosures 42 in. (1067 mm) and above. Additionally, an oil-resistant gasket and removable .127 in. thick steel panels that mount on collar studs are included, with the option to purchase panels separately. The master door is the far right-hand door on all enclosures, and the defeater on the master door requires a screwdriver to open. A mechanical interlock activated by the master door prevents slave doors from being opened first, allowing doors to be closed in any order. The preferred cutout on the right flange provides mounting for most disconnect switches and circuit breakers, and enclosures with three to five doors are equipped with three stiffeners on the rear of the body.
