The disconnect kit is designed for applications requiring a clamp-secured door, effectively keeping liquids and contaminants out with clamps on three sides of the door. It accommodates major brand disconnect switches and circuit breakers, furnished with enclosures. Key features include a bracket welded to the door for attaching a disconnect door catch (interlock) and instructions for locating and installing disconnect switches and circuit breakers. The construction consists of 14 gauge steel with seams continuously welded and ground smooth, external mounting brackets, and external-formed flanges around all sides of the enclosure opening. The door is made of stainless steel and is removable with a continuous hinge, complemented by a data pocket crafted from high-impact thermoplastic and a Type 4 rated door gasket. Additionally, the kit includes collar studs for mounting optional panels, holes in the body for mounting the disconnect operating handle and operating mechanism, and bonding provisions on the door.
