The Hoffman A42HS3112LP is a disconnect enclosure designed for applications where a clamp-secured door is essential, featuring a Type 4 rating. This enclosure measures 42.00 x 31.38 x 12.00 inches and is constructed from durable 14-gauge gray steel. The clamps on three sides of the door effectively prevent liquid and contaminants from entering, while the preferred cutout accommodates major brand disconnect switches and circuit breakers. The product includes a bracket welded to the door for attaching a disconnect door catch (interlock), as well as instructions for locating and installing disconnect switches, circuit breakers, and operating mechanisms. Additional attributes include externally mounted brackets, an external-formed flange around all sides of the enclosure opening, stainless steel door clamps, a removable door with a continuous hinge, and a data pocket made from high-impact thermoplastic.
