These general purpose disconnect enclosures are designed to accommodate major brand disconnect switches and circuit breakers, and are available with or without the Hoffman-supplied defeater door handle and handle hardware. The enclosures are constructed from 14 gauge steel, featuring continuously welded and ground smooth seams, a bonding provision on the door, and external mounting brackets. They include an external-formed flange around all sides of the enclosure opening, a removable door with a continuous hinge, and a data pocket made from high impact thermoplastic. The enclosures are equipped with an oil-resistant gasket, collar studs for mounting optional panels, as well as holes in both the body and door for mounting the operating handle, operating mechanism, and door closing mechanism. Options include the availability of Hoffman supplied padlocking defeater handle and latching system.
