The Advantage Stainless Steel Wire Rope Clip is designed for wire ropes with a diameter of 5/16 inches. The kit includes several stainless steel clips that provide reliable strength and corrosion resistance. The method of application involves turning back the specified amount of rope from the thimble and applying the first clip one base width from the dead end of the wire rope. Subsequent clips should be spaced equally between the first two, with the second clip placed as near the loop as possible. After applying the clips, you should turn on the nuts without tightening them, take up any rope slack, and then evenly tighten all nuts on all clips.
