The Idem ES-P and ES-SS standard duty emergency stop switches are engineered for robust emergency stop protection, suitable for machines and exposed conveyors across nearly all industry sectors. They feature plastic bodies rated at IP67 and stainless steel 316 with an IP69K rating. The switches conform to ISO 13850, EN 60947-5-1, and EN 60947-5-5 standards. A specialized lid safety trip mechanism ensures that the safety contacts open when the lid is removed, providing an enhanced level of anti-tamper protection. Additionally, there are button protection shroud versions equipped with padlock holes for enabling "lock off" during maintenance. The switches include 3-pole contact blocks that deliver positively operated switch contacts.
