The XL Series self-closing carbon steel extended safety gate is designed as one of the industry's premier mid-rail safety gates, featuring easy installation without the need for cutting, welding, or drilling. It can be installed in minutes using simple hand tools, and includes a custom-made stainless steel spring that automatically closes the gate after each passage. The gate incorporates a unique positive stop mechanism that ensures a positive stop without contact with the handrail post. It is available in a variety of Fabencoat™ finishes, including galvanized and safety yellow powder coated options. The assembly process is minimal, utilizing clamp-on installation that allows for mounting on either the right-hand or left-hand side. The gate provides 22 inches of vertical coverage, accommodating openings ranging from 22 to 24.5 inches.
