Ideal Shield's octagon sign base is constructed from durable polyethylene plastic, providing a maintenance-free, lightweight yet sturdy system. The dimensions of the octagon sign base are 8" wide by 20" in height on each side, with a standard sign stick height of 98". For installation, it is recommended to fill the base with concrete, sand, or water, as it can hold up to 11.5 gallons of water. In regions subject to freezing temperatures, it is advised to fill the sign base with 10 gallons of water to accommodate expansion.
