The Tripp Lite HDMI over Cat5/Cat6 Passive Extender, model B126-1P0, is a box-style remote receiver designed for video and audio transmission over distances of up to 50 feet (15.2 m), compliant with TAA standards. This extender operates in conjunction with Tripp Lite's B126-002 and B126-004 transmitters to facilitate the extension of HDMI signals to multiple projectors, monitors, or televisions in a daisy chain configuration. It is particularly suitable for use in environments such as digital signage, trade shows, classrooms, churches, and retail settings where the video source is positioned further than what conventional cables can accommodate. The B126-1P0 supports a 1080i (60 Hz) signal up to 100 feet (30.5 m) or a 1080p (60 Hz) signal up to 50 feet (15.2 m) utilizing a single Cat5e/6 cable, preferably a 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable like Tripp Lite's N202-series, for optimal performance. It features a built-in HDMI cable with a latching connector to prevent accidental disconnection, requires no external power, and provides crystal-clear video along with full stereo and 7.1-channel surround sound audio in combination with the compatible transmitters.
