The 3M™ AccuGlide™ 3 upper taping head is engineered for applying tape widths of 48-72mm (2-3") at a case speed of 100 ft/min. It utilizes a "C" clip application method, applying Scotch™ pressure sensitive film box sealing tape at the leading end of the box and continuing along the center seam to the trailing end, while cutting the tape during the application process. Typically, taping heads function in pairs for sealing two seams, and can be mounted in an upper and lower configuration to tape both the top and bottom of cases. Additionally, the head can be adapted for sealing cases lying on their sides. While primarily designed for use with 3M-Matic™ case sealers such as models 800RF, 800AF, 800A, 800R, 700A, 700R, 200A, and 800AB, it can also be utilized in converting other case sealers or in custom equipment. The taping head is compatible with Global# 423077, 422863, and 422868.
