The 3M™ AccuGlide™ V HSP taping head is engineered for high-speed tape application, utilizing low-impact motion to seal cases with minimal force, achieving a sealing speed of up to 150 feet per minute while ensuring quality tape application. This lightweight yet durable taping head is specifically designed for sealing under-filled boxes without sacrificing tape adhesion, providing a narrow profile for easy retrofitting to existing machines and low maintenance to enhance productivity. It features a low-profile side plate and an open tape path, allowing for swift and straightforward threading, along with a tape drum latch that secures rolls for stability and ensures positive tape alignment, easily released for roll changes. The rugged stainless steel construction enhances its durability, and the friction brake drum maintains proper tape tension, preventing overcoasting for smooth application. The taping head applies a "C" clip of Scotch® box sealing tape to seal the top center seam, contributing to low-impact sealing that protects boxes while increasing case throughput. Designed to integrate seamlessly with regular slotted containers (RSC), boxes are conveyed into the taping head via case sealer drive belts for efficient operation.
