Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are designed with separable components, consisting of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring). These bearings can be individually assembled and are available as matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, the optimized rollers and raceways facilitate line contact, enabling the bearing to support heavy radial and axial loads. However, it is important to note that these bearings can only handle axial loads in one direction, so a second laterally reversed bearing may be utilized for opposing axial loads, arranged in either a "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" configuration. The pressed steel cage ensures that the rollers are evenly separated, promoting reduced wear and minimal heat generation. These bearings find primary applications in heavy-duty industries such as mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
