Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are separable bearings composed of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring), allowing for separate assembly and matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, these bearings feature rollers and raceways optimized for line contact, enabling them to handle heavy radial and axial loads. They are designed to support axial loads in only one direction, necessitating the use of a second laterally reversed bearing for opposing axial loads, which can be arranged in either "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" configurations. The pressed steel cage provides even roller separation, enhancing wear properties and reducing heat generation.
