Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are designed as separable components, consisting of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring). These bearings allow for individual assembly and can be supplied as matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, they feature rollers and raceways optimized for line contact, enabling them to bear significant radial and axial loads. As they can only support axial loads in one direction, a second laterally reversed bearing may be utilized for loads in the opposite direction, configured in either a "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" arrangement. The pressed steel cage ensures even separation of rollers, thereby reducing wear and minimizing heat generation. These bearings find applications in industries such as mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
