ORS deep groove ball bearings, also known as radial ball bearings, are designed to accommodate both radial and axial loads and can operate at higher speeds, making them the most widely used type of bearing. These bearings are constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel, heat-stabilized to 300°F, with ABEC 1 tolerance (ISO normal) and C3 radial clearance. Each bearing undergoes 100% noise testing and is produced to EMQ standards. ORS offers double sealed and double shielded options with snap rings for most sizes. Established in 1982 under a license from Steyr Waelzlager of Austria, ORS Bearings Inc. is headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, within a production facility of 1,000,000 square feet. The company has received several certifications including ISO 9001:2008, ISO/TS 16949:2009, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, and OHSAS 18001, along with the Ford Q1 award.
