The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, allowing for impressive load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology consisting of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Other attributes include a five pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
