The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that ensures the brake only releases when the motor is energized, and grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists are equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, they feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
