The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology comprising a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chain and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral count hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they incorporate a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
