The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed using the latest technology and incorporate a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists come equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake facilitated by the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, they feature low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly with RoHS compliance, and exceed ASME H4 duty ratings. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
