The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing remarkable load control and field adjustable speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while offering integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also utilize a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, and their fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake operation. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 standards, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
