The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Included in the kit are attributes such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation of the motor and brake, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The package also includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, complying with ASME B30.16 standards.
