The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver dependable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, alongside a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. The hoists also feature low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to comply with ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
