The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
