The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake. Additionally, it has low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Every hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
