The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and integrated with a push/pull trolley for optimal performance. These hoists feature "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The kit includes a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, a fan-cooled motor helps maintain cooler operating temperatures for both the motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches enhance safety. The package also comes with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists comply with UL 1340 standards, are environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each unit is supplied with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
