The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington were designed using the latest technology and incorporate a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that provide reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, these hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
