The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and incorporate a push/pull trolley, culminating in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. These hoists feature "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which includes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. Additional attributes include grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5 pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches enhance usability. The hoists are equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Compliance is ensured with UL listing to UL 1340, adherence to RoHS requirements, and exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
