The NerP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. Additionally, the cooler motor and brake are aided by a fan-cooled design, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches enhance functionality. The kit includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
